Did you know that one of the best, most extensive mud cave areas in the world is located in our own backyard? Arroyo Tapiado is located in the southern half of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. It has dozens of mud caves and beautiful slot canyons that will keep us busy for the entire weekend. Be ready to explore some of these amazing caves.
After we choose our campsite and park, we will begin exploring the caves and slot canyons. Bring a daypack with your 10 essentials & lunch. When we return we will set up camp, have dinner, and light a small fire. Sunday morning after breakfast, we'll have a tent tour. We will then break camp, clear out of the campsite and head back to exploring caves and slot canyons all morning!
