We'll practice land navigation and build a snow kitchen. After the bus drops us off, we'll snowshoe in just under a mile to our campsite. Here we'll set up camp and have lunch. After lunch, we'll build a snow kitchen. We'll also build a snow potty and pack out all solid human waste. If we have extra time and if the weather co-operates, we may go on an exploratory day hike. Saturday night we'll have dinner in our snow kitchen. After a leisurely breakfast, we'll break camp, destroy our snow creations, and practice map reading before returning to the bus. Special Outing Requirements: Snow Shoes 4 season tent Water Requirements: 2 liters and enough fuel to melt snow
