Trip# 3: Mammoth Snowshoe and Snow Shelter Building  Grade: M2ADate: 3/13/2026
Leader: Tim SwiftAssistant: Joshua Ruhl
Friday night we'll snowshoe into camp, get set up, and start building our snow kitchen, and outhouse. We'll do an evening hike to warm up before sleeping. Saturday morning we will finish the kitchen and outhouse. We'll spend any remaining time snowshoeing around to see the beauty of Mammoth in the winter in a way few people get to. At night we light a small fire and have dinner while sitting around our camp kitchen. Sunday, we will tear down everything, in keeping with Leave No Trace ethics, and then return to the bus for the drive home to share stories of our amazing trip!
